ATTAIN came into existence in 2006. A.T.T.A.I.N. was originally created by Mr. Rose as an acronym that stood for Actors Tips, Techniques, Auditioning, Improve and Networking Workshop. From it's inception, It was designed to be a supportive network of film and stage actors.

They would meet twice a month at a local library and share stories, experiences, upcoming auditions and practice different exercises. This grew rapidly and Mr. Rose started inviting independent directors and industry professionals to the meetings that could further the needs of his students. This also helped directors in learning how actors worked and would give them the opportunity to scout some phenomenal talent. As he continued, he  found that his personal quest for knowledge and answers went deeper than just a social, fun get together for actors.

As time went on Mr. Rose developed his own signature exercises based on his own acting knowledge (He had been acting since he was a small child), his numerous years as a behavioral modification specialist in social work, his own experiences studying under numerous big industry acting coaches and a lot of trial and error.

Mr. Rose studied everything he could learn about Konstantin Stanislavski, Sandford Meisner and other acting fathers. He scrutinized his own acting coaches asking questions about their exercises that often left him shunned. Then, with these signature exercises, he found a basis for proper development that felt right and cleared up a lot of confusion felt by actors seeking a methodology that worked. Mr. Rose also found that a good workshop should constantly be evolving.

Through his quest, he learned the importance of maintaining a truly safe environment. Where all of his students could learn how to leave the rest of the world at the door. They could then begin warm-ups that would allow them to remove the walls of inhibition brick by brick. They would learn how to listen and react instinctively. All of this would then give way to a real, in the moment, truthful acting experience that form triggers and switches. Most of all, the ability to tap the Human Condition.
